On Friday, the ISEM Alumni Association, led by President Mr. JDIOUI and Vice-President Mr. MENZHI, hosted a gathering at the Solazur Hotel in Tanger. The event brought together former ISEM graduates working in the maritime sector and holding various leadership positions in the Tanger region.
Mr. JDIOUI highlighted the strategic importance of the Northern region, emphasizing its world-class port infrastructure and economic dynamism, making it a hub of excellence in the maritime field.
The meeting fostered constructive dialogue, allowing alumni to share experiences and propose ways to leverage the skills and expertise of ISEM graduates specializing in maritime professions. Key topics discussed included:
- Restructuring the Association to enhance its effectiveness and achieve its goals.
- Involving the Association in improving ISEM’s educational offerings by facilitating access to specialized professors and adapting curricula to sector evolutions and job market demands.
- Advocating for easier access to mandatory sea service periods for ISEM graduates to obtain their proficiency certificates under optimal conditions and within reasonable timeframes.
Mr. JDIOUI expressed gratitude to all participants for their commitment and encouraged continued collaboration with the Association’s Board to further develop and promote ISEM Alumni.
